Chaayos:- Experiments with Chai

"Chaayos" well known tea outlets from Delhi which has taken the concept of chai (tea) to the next level in India. It totally justifies the tag line "Experiments with Chai" by offering us option to customize our tea in approx.12,000 ways.

Last month Chaayos opened up it's 5th outlet of Mumbai located at Pheonix Market City, Kurla and i was invited to review and give feedback of the same.

Ambience:-

This outlet is quite spacious with bright and colourful interiors, pleasant atmosphere along with variety of seating options.

Menu:-

The menu of this place offers amazing tea options with few munchies complimenting it.

Palak Patta Crispies:- Palak patta's were perfectly fried giving it crispiness and topped with jalapenos chutney, masala and bhujiya. It's good munching option with hot chai.

Kala Chana Chaat:- Healthy option to try out. Tasty.

Masala Chai:- It's kadak masala chai giving the perfect morning kick.

Aam Papad Chai:- It's aam papad flavour chai which giving perfect taste as expected. Must try one if you looking out for different flavour other then your regular tea.

Bun Maska Kheema:- It's one of my favourite on the menu and have tasted the bun kheema from chaayos many times. Definitely must try one.

Bun Maska Vada:- Regular batata wada is stuffed within the soft bun. It didn't match my expectation. The taste was bland.

Chicken Thepla Tacos:- The theplas are served in tacos style are stuffed with roasted chicken tossed in spicy sauce. 

Loaded Chicken Cheese Max:- Must try one for cheese and chicken lovers. Bun is loaded with chicken chunks which is oozing with cheese and served with mayo dip. Simply awesome.

Chocolate Factory:- Dark chocolate pastry, one of the best dessert on the menu.

Date and Fig Cake:- It's decent dessert option which is combination of date and fig but bit on dry side.

Thandi Chai:- It's chai frappe which is available in four flavours i.e Elaichi, Masala, Saunf and Cinnamon. Tried out elaichi flavour which was refreshing and worth a try.

Recommendation:- Palak Patta Crispies, Masala Chai, Aam Papad Chai, Thandi Chai, Chocolate Factory and Loaded Chicken Cheese Max.

Service:- Since it was an invitation not specifying details about the service. But service staff were really friendly and were welcoming every customers with same amount of excitement. Special thanks to Divya Divakaran for her hospitality.

Overall Superb experience and good place to hangout with family and friends over a cup of tea.
